Blood of Innocents

Journalist Hannah Jordaan is back – and this time trouble seems to find her…
It is 1994 and shortly after the elections following Nelson Mandela’s release. Hannah has decided to take a break after the hectic pace of covering the elections which hit headlines across the world. She heads off for a game reserve just outside Kimberley, to visit her friends who own Groenland. Hannah invites her friend, Dr Rudi Behr, along with her and they plan to spend a relaxing time close to nature and have some time to assess their budding relationship..
The rugged beauty of the Northern Cape and the soothing presence of the Vaal River seem to be just what the doctor ordered. Soon, however, Hannah and Rudi find all is not what it appears to be. Rhino poaching and labour unrest cause ripples that rapidly escalate into a much more dangerous sequence of events.
They are drawn into a web where everything seems to spiral out of control. They find that country life is giving them much more than they bargained for – and where helping friends leads to the unenviable situation of putting their own lives at risk.
